‘Devastated’ family of new mom, 32, randomly killed in Times Square releases heartbreaking statement

A young mother kissed her baby goodbye and walked into Times Square, expecting nothing more than an ordinary day at work. Minutes later, she was bleeding on the sidewalk as horrified tourists screamed and strangers struggled to understand what was happening. A man armed with kitchen knives had turned an ordinary afternoon into a nightmare. In one of the busiest places in the world, surrounded by thousands of people, a life was suddenly and violently taken.
