The night became more difficult for Seattle when starting quarterback Sam Darnold left the game with a hip injury.

Backup quarterback Drew Lock was forced into action and initially struggled to move the offense consistently.

But Seattle stayed within striking distance.

With the Seahawks trailing, Lock helped lead two crucial scoring drives late in the game.

One of the biggest plays was a 45-yard completion to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, which helped Seattle tie the game before eventually taking the lead.

Seattle’s defense then took control.

The Seahawks intercepted Maye three times during the final quarter, including a spectacular interception by Josh Jobe in the end zone that effectively sealed the game.
